is a new multifunctional centre at HSE University, which provides services to students and alumni. You can obtain necessary documents and get all paperwork done by filing an application via online service, which operates as a one-stop shop.

How to submit an application and obtain requested documents

Services for students
Issuance of documents
- We prepare and issue different types of certificates (certificates of attendance: in Russian / in English, transcripts, certificates for the Ministry of Internal Affairs, extracts from online grade books, requests for employers to grant days off to attend examinations, study certificates (dismissal from HSE University), period of study certificates (transfer to other university), certificates as to the level of the English language proficiency);
- We provide certified copies of matriculation directives;
- We prepare certified copies of HSE University’s documents (HSE Charter) and provide information with respect to HSE University’s license and state accreditation;
- We issue duplicates of Student ID cards;
- Visa and Registration Centre issues visa and registration documents for international students at our centre Monday – Friday, from 2 pm till 6 pm.
Processing of applications
- Here you can have your international English language test certificates verified with a transfer of points;
- We accept applications for amendments in students’ personal data;
- We check for a valid reason for non-attendance at the exam (classes);
- we consider retaking the exam due to illness or other valid reason if the assessment was positive on the interim assessment;
- We process applications to postpone the dates of exams and retake dates;
- We help with providing special conditions for studying for students with disabilities;
- We accept applications to postpone the retake date of the discipline commission and re-study it;
- We are going to shortly launch other automated options, which will allow us to process more applications submitted online.
Feedback
- We provide consultations to students in Russian and English, both online and face-to-face;
- We can give you tips as to how to transfer to another degree programme and a state-funded place;
- We are ready to answer any other questions about the organization of study processes, if no answer to your question can be found in HSE Academic Handbook;
- We reply to inquiries from official authorities and companies asking to confirm the student’s status at the University.
Coordination of the University-wide campaigns
- We coordinate internal transfers of students within HSE University, as well as from other educational organizations;
- We coordinate transfers of students from fee-based to state-funded places;
- We submit information about diplomas awarded by HSE University to the Federal Register of Certificates of Education and Qualification.
Services for alumni
Issuance of documents*
- We issue certificates to alumni to confirm the period of their study at the University;
- We prepare and issue duplicates of State Diplomas;
- We prepare and issue duplicates of HSE University Diplomas and Diploma Supplements thereto;
- We provide certified copies of documents (State Diplomas, Diploma Supplements, certificates of HSE University’s accreditation and HSE Charter), as well as information with respect to HSE University’s license;
- We accept requests for uploading information about SNILS and diplomas awarded to the University’s alumni to the Federal Register of Certificates of Education and Qualification.

Coordination of work with other organizations
- We submit information about diplomas awarded by HSE University to the Federal Register of Certificates of Education and Qualification;
- We reply to inquiries with respect to studies completed by the University’s alumni for the purposes of their diploma legalization procedures;
- We forward certified copies of documents to other organizations (including WES).

Students of other educational organizations
- We provide consultations about student transfers to HSE University from foreign universities. This service is provided to citizens of the Russian Federation, the Donetsk People's Republic, the Lugansk People's Republic and Ukraine, as well as persons facing hardship: studcentre@hse.ru;
- We reply to inquiries about the transfer of students from other educational institutions in Russia and foreign universities.
Official state bodies and companies
We reply to inquiries from official authorities and companies asking to confirm the student’s status at the University: inquiries shall be submitted by e-mail at hse@hse.ru with a personal data subject’s consent for processing his/her personal data attached to the inquiry (for companies).
